Meet Wendy Lyn
As a restaurant consultant who travels the world working with everyone in the business – it is no wonder that so many people call on Wendy as a trusted industry colleague to give them essential addresses when they are traveling.
When this professional eater is not chronicling her international eating & drinking adventures on Instagram, Food & Wine Magazine, Travel + Leisure, Epicurious and multiple food programs on The Travel Channel, she takes food-obssessed clients on her wildly popular/sell out private food tours in Paris.
You’re in for a real treat
Like most of you, I’m not a “tour” person.
But when I travel to eat through a new culture without my chefs friends leading the way – its not easy. I want to have fun, learn about the food culture from someone in the know who has a deep connection to the food scene, can get me to the right spots, isn’t afraid to tell me what the locals wish I knew, I am able to pay for what I want to eat & drink, take Instagram-worthy food photos that make my friends back home green with envy and hang out with cool like-minded people.
Delivered the way it should be
My approach is not one-size fits all, Paris is one of a kind and so are you.
The private tours are just that, created around just you and me on location in bakeries, cheese shops, bistrots & wine bars, so you can dig in deeper, eat and drink what you want, linger, laugh, ask questions, have them answered, have spontaneous experiences that are not scripted, in the spirit of a progressive neighborhood party. During our time together, one layer at a time, you’ll start seeing things revealed that you wouldn’t have seen right away.
The Sunday Times said it best, “Being with Wendy is like being with your fab big sister on location. Along the way she gives you the real deal, arms you with tons of local knowledge and introduces you to her inner circle of industry friends so that you can eat, drink & feel like a local insider too.”
The tours sell out months in advance. If you don’t see your date available please send Wendy an email to let her know – she’ll squeeze you in if possible.

Who Is Wendy Lyn?
She’s dubbed “the insider’s insider,” for her hard-won all-access pass within the international culinary community from working as a PR & Restaurant Consultant for the most notable chefs & restaurants in the world. From conceptualizing restaurants with chefs to launching the first US Michelin Guide – Wendy has been based in Paris for over half her life, globetrotting a staggering 200+ days a year on an airplane getting to the next foreign city for the next project.
Originally from L.A. (Lower Alabama/Florida Panhandle), Wendy is happily grounded now in her favorite food city where her trusted Southern appeal, high-regard for French food & wine and her energetic genuine fun-style, have endeared her to Paris’ top chefs & industry pros who consider her part of their family.
