At a Glance:

If you need a break from French food, this fun classy urban spot serves up top-notch spicy Korean fried chicken with bubbly rose wine, beer and cocktails. Great music playlist too. The Asian "yangnyeom" fried chicken coating choices are a brown sugar garlic glaze or a spicy gochu jang sauce - accompanied by a "trio" of kimchi, potato salad, pickled cucumbers and sweet potato noodles, kimchi mac 'n' cheese and samjang pork belly buns. The clever concrete horse trough sink basin in the middle of the upstairs dining room is genius, outfitted with plush terry towels to wash your hands. Trust me, you'll use it often. Effervescent "pet nats" (petillant nature) are perfect with the heat: Emile Heredia Boisson Rouge 2011 , and Patrick Bouju's "Festejar!". If wine isn't your thing, they've got Soju and cocktails called Nice Legs, Bubble Trouble and I Woke Up Like This (tapioca pearls, almond milk, pear, lime, ginger beer).
