Natural Wine Bar Tour:
Eat & drink with insider Wendy Lyn on a natural wine bar tour at the coolest industry hangouts & hotspots like Clamato, Septime Wine Bar & The Clown Bar.
This private tour is for people who travel solely to be part of the food scene by eating and drinking through it.
Forget old school classic wine bars or pretentious swirling & sniffing – this fun natural wine bar tour is only for those who want to hang with in -the-know-locals, understand the nuances of how the French “do” wine bars, are willing to leave any classic French wine knowledge at the door and are open to learning about natural wines made by small wine producers, and want to taste them paired with modern/creative food pairings as tapas portion sharing plates by up-and-coming chefs.
The wine bars you’ll visit in the urban 11th arr. are serving these funky wines to an edgy & rowdy, young hip crowd who all know each other and will be standing with you around a bar with no chairs, and music playlists blaring.
Wendy loves questions, especially about the hospitality, restaurant & wine industry – so ask away.
Physical limitations? Picky eater? Reserving for a same day arrival? Read below first before reserving.
What To Know Before Reserving This Tour:
Physical Limitations: If you are not able to stand on your feet for long periods of time, this tour may not be suitable. We are on our feet for the most part of the 4-hour duration of the tour. No seating.
Dress Code: The dress code is super casual.
Date & Time: Do not reserve this tour on a same day international flight arrival. The stress of luggage, traffic, hotel room not being ready, and jet lag does not make for a fun morning. I’d rather meet you when you are refreshed and rested, not stressed.
Allergy Sensitivities: Shellfish allergies are not a problem for this tour.
What Is/Is Not Included:
What is included in the Paris Natural Wine Bar Tour is a fun informative four-hour private tour, Wendy’s time, knowledge, transportation – and a great night out.
Food & wine are not included because Wendy’s clients prefer freedom to be totally in control of what they want to eat & drink instead of a set budget & menu that does not fit their taste. Tapas -style sharing plates average 5-9€ each, glasses of wine 5-9€ each, and bottles of wine 20-35€.
All reservations are nonrefundable because your space is being guaranteed for your private tour, no exceptions. Walks start promptly. Late arrivals beyond 15 minutes and no shows will be treated as cancelations. Cancelation policies also apply to any agreed upon rescheduled tour. You will be prompted to “Terms & Conditions” upon check out to acknowledge this policy.
Rave Reviews From Clients
“Not only was Wendy’s Taste of Paris Food Tour a total learning experience, it was just plain fun. Wendy’s knowledge, delightful personality and connections made for quite the boring afternoon after our morning with her. Within minutes of leaving her we were asking each other, “Can we hit rewind and do that again?” – John and Michael
“If only there were a ‘Wendy’ in every major food city in the world…Barcelona, New York, Venice, London, etc. She’s that good.” – Steve and Molly
“After our Taste of Paris Food Tour with Wendy, we spent the afternoon talking about the amazing information she had shared with us … she is clearly on a personal mission to make sure that everyone has an authentic food experience in Paris and not the Disney cliché. Wendy Lyn changed the way we saw and experienced everything. She really is a star.” – Jane and Nelson C.
