Le Bel Ordinaire Paris

At a Glance:

First lunch service at food critic Sébastien Demorand's & business partner Cyrille Rossetto's new Le Bel Ordinaire - a wine bar, grocery store, deli & natural wine shop with communal dining. The space is gorgeous, like a NYC loft with high ceilings, a communal farm house table in the centre, and flanked by a charcuterie counter, open kitchen and grocery shelves heaving with the prettiest food & wine products to take away. A fun buzzy ambiance and food by Chef Nicolas Fabre (Kitchen Gallérie, Freddy's) is delicious. A la carte plates can be shared (or not!) A fantastic addition to the area when finding a good place to eat/first-rate groceries to take away/natural wine near the Grand Boulevards & train stations can be a challenge without reservations and bonus points for being open all day. Especially for anyone looking for picnic/train ride provisions or renting an apartment in the area. One stop shopping and everything has been sourced carefully from farmers & producers who care about quality.

Sample dishes:

A la carte menu changes often but we had Charcuterie, Cheese, Terrine, Tender octopus/potatoes/hand-chopped green olive tapenade, Gorgeous burrata, capers & confit tomatoes, Couscous with fat grilled pork sausage.
